About Me

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 12 years, and it has become the foundation of my physical and mental wellbeing.

Over time, my practice has evolved from a dynamic, goal-focused approach to something slower, more intuitive, and grounding.

Yoga has helped me manage stress, build resilience, and create space for rest alongside a busy corporate career.

My practice now prioritises balance — combining strength, mobility, and stillness rather than performance or perfection. I encourage students to choose the variation that best supports their body on any given day, recognising there is no “advanced” version, only what feels right for you.

My teaching offers a calm, supportive and inclusive space where you can move with intention, build strength gently, and create space to rest.

My Journey

My practice has been shaped through years of movement, strength, and stillness. I am experienced in Pilates, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga, and these influences naturally inform my teaching.

During my corporate career, yoga and Pilates became an important part of my routine — helping me reset, stay grounded, and manage stress through busy working days. Over time, this practice built both physical strength and emotional resilience.

Personal experiences with stress and chronic illness have also shaped the way I approach movement and wellbeing, deepening my understanding of rest, adaptability, and meeting the body where it is each day.

As my practice evolved, I became drawn toward a slower, more balanced approach that combines breath-led Vinyasa, strength-based movement, and restorative practices such as Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and mindfulness meditation.

I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Hero in 2025 and continue to deepen my teaching through ongoing study, personal practice, and further training.

Teaching Style

I teach breath-led Vinyasa and restorative-inspired classes with a focus on strength, mobility, and balance.

My classes are steady, accessible, and grounded in simple movement that builds strength without pressure or intensity. I aim to create a welcoming environment where you can reconnect with your body, move with awareness, and step away from the demands of daily life.

I place emphasis on breath, rest, and sustainable movement practices that feel supportive rather than performance-driven.

I find real joy in seeing students develop confidence, strength, and a deeper connection to themselves over time.

I’m particularly interested in supporting people experiencing stress or chronic illness, offering practices that help build resilience, ease, and confidence in a sustainable way.

I offer studio-based classes in and around Leeds, as well as private 1–1 sessions.
